FAKTOR–FAKTOR YANG BERHUBUNGAN DENGAN PENGGUNAAN KONTRASEPSI MODERN PADA PRIA DI INDONESIA

Abstract

Penggunaan kontrasepsi modern pada pria di Indonesia masih rendah. Hasil SDKI 2012 sampai 2017,  hanya 0,12 persen pria menggunakan kontrasepsi modern setiap tahunnya. Sementara wanita diatas 50 persen. Tujuan penelitian mengetahui faktor yang berhubungan dengan penggunaan kontrasepsi modern pada pria di Indonesia. Faktor yang dibahas meliputi  usia, pendidikan, pekerjaan, tempat tinggal, kuintil kekayaan, kepemilikan asuransi, jumlah anak ideal, jumlah anak lahir hidup, pengetahuan tentang kontrasepsi modern, pemahaman kontrasepsi adalah urusan wanita, pria tidak perlu khawatir, sumber informasi KB dari radio, sumber informasi KB dari TV,  sumber informasi KB dari surat kabar. Jenis penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan data sekunder  SDKI 2017. Unit analisis semua pria bersatus menikah atau hidup bersama dengan pasangan. Jumlah responden sebanyak 10009. Desain penelitian belah lintang (cross sectional). Teknik pengumpulan data dengan wawancara menggunakan kuesioner terstruktur. Analisis data dilakukan secara univariat dan bivariate dengan uji statistic chi square tingkat signifikansi (α= 5%). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan faktor yang berhubungan meliputi usia, jenjang pendidikan, tempat tinggal, kuintil kekayaan, jumlah anak ideal, pengetahuan tentang kontrasepsi modern, kontrasepsi adalah urusan wanita, pria tidak perlu khawatir, sumber informasi KB dari radio, sumber informasi KB dari TV, dan sumber informasi KB dari surat kabar. Sementara pekerjaan, kepemilikan asuransi untuk pelayanan KB dan anak lahir hidup tidak berhubungan.
